Johns Incredible Pizza Company, to start things off I have to thank Groupon, if you don’t have an account/email set up yet, do so now! They have amazing deals from time to time, like this one! This Groupon deal was if I remember was $20.00 which included the free buffet, $25.00 of game play and 1 free ride. I remember my sister’s boyfriend told me that he has had this before and it was pretty good. My girlfriend also said that this is where her brother’s birthday was earlier in the year…or was it last year…i don’t know but I do know she said that! It was actually a planned day for my girlfriend and I, and we both had work in the morning, and thought it would be awesome to try out after work, and that’s what we did. Johns Incredible Pizza Company is located at the Buena Park Mall, as you can see from the above photo, they stand out! I remember walking through the doors, and you think you are there but you end up walking a good length hall way, with poster photos with the venue. When you reach the end of the hallway, you take an escalator downstairs and you reach the entrance. Just a heads up don’t enter the doors from the left for that’s just the party entrance, the general entrance is to the right. The cashier was friendly, and we asked how packed this place can get, and he mentioned best time to come is on the weekdays, but if you plan on coming on the weekend come before 12pm, anytime after  be prepared to wait for a good 2 hours! INSANE! After we finished all that, we were faced with the buffet, the set up was amazing! On the left hand side you had the soft drinks, and on the right was 4 different like bar/serving area. The four serving stations were Salad, Pasta & Potatoes, Pizza and lastly Dessert. Before I get to the food, I loved the fact that they had different themed seating areas like: Riptide which is like a beach setting, Cabin fever which is well as it says eating as if you were in a cabin, Toon Theater which was one of the two bigger rooms, it had a lot of seating with cartoon icons located around the room, with a lot of TV’s and also two big projection screen TV’s that were made to look like it was in a giant frame. The second biggest room which was Hall of Fame where we ended up sitting, was pretty much just as big as Toon Theater, but decorated with sports frames showing the best of each sport, as well as many tv’s scattered around the room and also having two projection screens within a frame. The last room which I forgot the title was closed off due to a private party that will be there. Now on to the food and the arcade! The pizza was pretty good, at the pizza station I loved the fact that there were two sides. One side being regular pizza that we all traditionally know in example like cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian, supreme and all those other ones. And on the other side was specialty pizza’s like Alfredo, Buffalo chicken, nacho cheese, BBQ chicken, spicy peanut butter, mac n cheese and others! Me and my girlfriend didn’t really try the traditional ones because, whats the fun in that right?! The first plate we ended up getting Alfredo, BBQ Chicken and the Spicy Peanut Butter pizza. The Alfredo was pretty much just like a cheese pizza but with a small kick of herbs, nothing too special, the BBQ chicken was probably both our favorites, it had the perfect amount of BBQ sauce with each bite, and small diced up chicken pieces scattered amongst the pizza surface. The Spicy Peanut Butter, was different but I to my surprise liked it, it looked like a regular pizza, but with peanuts popping out. My girlfriend ended up eating the peanuts, so it looked like a cheese pizza, when you first bite into it, the first thing you taste is the peanut butter, and then all of a sudden a heated drop kick hits your tonsils, there’s a huge kick of spice! The texture is different due to the peanut butter, but to me it was a good different, I finished my slice and just took a bite of my girlfriends, she ended up not finishing it. The pasta which we got was some penne pasta, mac n cheese, and pesto…was nothing special. The second plate of pizza I got was the buffalo chicken pizza, nacho pizza, another slice of BBQ chicken pizza, and also the Mac N Cheese Pizza. The nacho cheese pizza was pretty good, as it tasted just like a slightly spiced cheese pizza. The Buffalo chicken pizza was as well pretty good, it had the strong taste of the buffalo sauce, it went well with the ranch. The Mac N Cheese pizza was good, the weird thing is the regular Mac N Cheese was eh…but on the pizza it was good! Weird right?! Overall the pizza was great, different flavors, loved the fact that you can taste the dough in the pizza, and the crust had the softness mixed with a crunch to it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The dessert station was really cool, they had an actual donut making machine there. The cinnamon roll was okay, it wasn’t like a WHOA moment, but the chocolate chip cookie and the donut….now those two are WHOA moments. They also had a sugar cookie but lets just say, as I bit into that my statement is best to describe it….

But on the real the chocolate chip cookie was bomb.com, I described it being a mixture of a chips-ahoy cookie that can’t make up its mind of being chewy or crunchy. Amazing cookie, the cookie plus the chocolate balanced each other really nicely, me and my girlfriend were in cookie heaven. You will think that was my favorite, but it wasn’t! The donuts are!!!!! Don’t be fooled they aren’t like your regular donut, it looked like a donut. The whole sequence when both me and my girlfriend took a bite of the donut at the same time, we looked at each other with a mouthgasm beause of the food! It was literally lik e adonut funnel cake! It had an amazing crunch, with a fluffy dough inside it, and lightly touched with powdered sugar which just was out of bounds. Seriously, a bite size funnel cake, what more can you ask besides wheres the strawberries?! They also did have ice cream with cones, which was pretty amazing too, the fact that after I finisehd mine I regretted not getting two, or at least making a huge one!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There arcade area is huge, has the twister which who would ride after stuffing your face with pizza and what not, a small little kid ride, they have bumper cars, and also not a real bowling alley but a small lil bowling thingy. It was a fun way to end a great meal, and walk it off by playing some games. Unfortunately being a hardcore gamer and what not, this is built mainly for kids. Its mainly a lot of ticket dispensing games, you wont find those games you would scattered around dave and busters, but over all its still really fun. On the real I loved that there was a lot of space to walk around, to walk off all the food you just ate, and have competitions in the ticket games with whom ever you are with.

Ssp Final Thoughts:
Johns Incredible Pizza Company is an amazing place to take a family and/or your cousins. Go with a group of people, and fill all  your bellies with different pizza flavors. I forgot to check how much it is regularly, but I think in due time I will be coming back here, I know for sure because well I still have like 800 credits of free games! Overall great pizza, amazing lay out and different rooms to sit in depending on who you are with. Make sure to get the donut…i mean bite sized funnel cakes. If you go sneak some into your purse/backpack or whatever and deliver to me…it will be highly appreciated! =) Feast well, and I hope you all enjoyed my food adventure to Johns Incredible Pizza Company!
