Again I am very open to anything, let me know if there is a place I should try out, also let me know on some places I should avoid! I love hearing peoples feed back about places, so if there is a restaurant that sparked you because it was so good, leave me a reply here and I’d love to add your comments onto my posts!
Salutations! As the title says welcome to my food blog/ventures! To start things off I am not a professional food blogger or a photographer. I am just fascinated with the many arts of food like its preparation, its presentation and of course its taste!
Now that I have gotten that outta the way...Hi my name is Paul Victoria but I am known for my nickname Ssp, don't know what it means, well too bad...but you're welcome to ask me. I live in Garden Grove, where I find myself lucky because well I feel like Garden Grove is perfectly in the middle of a lot of amazing cities with great eating destinations! This blog all got started after I started getting serious with Yelp! So a lot of thanks to them! Basically this blog here is just to share my food venture to places I have eaten, share my thoughts on the food, the restaurant and its decoration's, set up and what not. Share my experience and well just give you guy's a vision as if you where there with me!
I will update this blog every week! And I do have many other idea's to be added in due time! I love receiving comments, so please leave comments! I'd love to know that there are people reading my posts and what not. Feel free to leave encouraging comments, some tips and things I should work on, some recommendations on places I should try, that would be deeply appreciated!

You have a great blog Paul, I want to hear the crunch of the (waffle chicken cole slaw thing
sounds amaaaazing, you should video yourself getting the food then eating it and then your face
in reaction to the food (good or bad)
Video the the steam coming off the hot beverages, food.

Summarize the blog – Quick reference guide to the side of the article with 5star rating
system so you don’t have to read the entire blog to get the core info.
For example: Text, text,.. Parking Lot Size: 4 stars Cleanliness: 3 stars Ambience: % stars
Waiting time: 4 stars
Include a cost factor icons to show $, $$, $$$, $$$$, $$$$$ how much to expect to pay.

Please try Rusty Pelican. Great any day, but they have bottomless champagne for sunday brunch (ends at 3pm!)
Also, try brunch at Sidestreet Cafe in Costa Mesa. you will almost ALWAYS find a wait there.. that’s how good it is!
Big Belly Deli is a local Newport Favorite as well.
Ma ‘n Pa’s Grocery in Belmont Shores, Long Beach has HANDS DOWN thee best beef jerky! They make it fresh every day.
also, thought it’s a larger chain, try Wingnuts (my favorite location is in Costa Mesa off Harbor). all day sunday and all day Monday is happy hour.. appetizers half off and drink deals.
Also, there’s this place in Fountain Valley called Casa Inka.. don’t be fooled by other ones.. you’ve got to try THIS one.
Also, take your wonderful girlfriend to Old Vine Cafe and have a full course meal pairing!! THEN, after go to Milk + Honey for the m+h special…
psst. Roman Cucina on Newport Blvd. has $5 martini Mondays… and everyone is good looking that works there!

I just tried a bakery called Portos. It was fantastic! You have to go try it. I went on a Thursday morning and it was pretty crowded so I cant even imagine what it would be like on the weekend…beware. The bakery items are super cheap! My personal faves are the cheese roll and crumb cake. They also have a lot of cuban sandwiches that also taste awesome.
SO you have to try Peruvian food. Their traditional plate is Lomo Saltado, but I love shrimps so I usually order Camarones a la ajillo (something like that, lol). Oh and take cash!!
The Food Trucks in Seal Beach are awesome. Good to see you there. The Rancho A GoGo was awesome. Grilled Cheese was fantastic
I havent tried this place yet but I just read about it in thrillist…you are my official taste tester so let me know how it is! are you ready for this? wait for it….. sushi on a burger. its a spot called 26 beach in venice. DO IT!
